One of my biggest “why’s” for rocking my health is to live Hunter’s passion with him as I live mine. Like you, each week I’m slammed with commitments and work. Regardless of a tight schedule, I always make time for my health because I’m crystal clear on my “why’s”. On Tuesday night I played a couple of indoor soccer matches (which H came to) and last night H and I had an awesome keeper training session with our coach. Words cannot express the joy I have being 44 years old and able to train full throttle with my 12 year old son. Our bonding time and friendship is priceless.
I share this because as adults and parents, we all know that life is busy. That being said, we also have a choice on how we spend our time. As you take on the rest of this week and the weekend focus on making your health an experience and get crystal clear on “why” it matters. The strength of your “why” is the inspiration that will help you to push through the times when you just want to skip a work out or sports training session because the day got away from you or sleeping in sounds so good. Each day is an opportunity for an amazing adventure, so get to it and have fun!
