We’re all busy and finding easy and quick grab n go meals is challenging! This is when good quality dairy can help fill your protein needs.
Now I know dairy seems to get a bad rap, but for most of us, including kids, it’s an awesome quick source of protein to balance your meals. It’s super easy to find grab n go carbs (fruits, veggies) and fats (nuts, seeds, nut butters), but protein is not so easy. This is why Greek yogurt, string cheese and cottage cheese are excellent protein staples when you need a quick meal.
The only time I suggest limiting your dairy is in these 3 cases:
1) Detoxing
2) Eating super clean food to maximize fat burning or to breakthrough a plateau (like the ignite or jump start phase)
3) Difficulty digesting dairy and it bloats you (water retention)
If you’re not living in one of those moments above, give dairy a shot and start with this fast and easy treat that’s surprisingly delicious!
